Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg
The Hanseatic city of Hamburg will have a symbol' the Elbphilharmonie (philharmonic hall), under construction in Hamburg's harbor since 2007. Based on the old quay warehouse, the multifunctional building will be a cut above the rest. Along with three concert halls it will also accommodate a five-star hotel, restaurants, 43 exclusive apartments and a multi-story car park. The 136 construction offices and crew accommodation facilities during construction were provided by Streif Baulogistik. These were integrated directly into the steel scaffolding that supports the facade of the hollowed warehouse, at seven and a half meters above the water for flood protection. |

Based on the old quay warehouse, the multifunctional building will be a cut above the rest. Along with three concert halls it will also accommodate a five-star hotel, restaurants, 43 exclusive apartments and a multi-story car park. During construction, Streif Baulogistik will provide a total of five revolving tower cranes, some of which can climb to heights of up to 120m. Due to the restricted space on site with limited storage and delivery areas, the cranes were transported to the construction site on pontoons floating along the river Elbe. |

Extension of Gate A-West, Frankfurt Airport
Since November 2008, Streif Baulogistik has been responsible for the general construction site equipment and logistics for the extension work on Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport. By 2012, the terminal will have a new pier, A-West, which, once completed, will be able to handle even big aircraft like the jumbo jet A380. Streif Baulogistik is also responsible for the entire construction site infrastructure and for logistics coordination and management as well as for site protection, access control, cleaning and waste management. The company has also set up and is managing some 300 containers on site. |

PPP schools, Frankfurt am Main
Within two years, a total of four schools in Frankfurt am Main have been renovated and refurbished on the basis of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Streif Baulogistik was responsible for the supply and setup of 810 containers in total. These were equipped to function as temporary facilities for 5,500 students. To ensure as little interruption of school activities as possible, the majority of assemblies were completed within the 6-week summer vacation in 2007. |

Barwa Commercial Avenue, Qatar
The Barwa Commercial Avenue spanning over eight kilometers will be a retail, office and residential center at the southern periphery of Doha. It will total a gross floor space of almost 900,000 m2 which roughly corresponds to the size of 110 soccer pitches. Streif Baulogistik has contributed to the project by selling equipment including some 5,000 m2 of StreifLight (steel version) and StreifTelos brand wall and column formwork. The company has also provided a topping-out foremen to coordinate and supervise the initial assembly and train staff in handling the equipment. |

Rheinau harbor, Cologne
This development project in the heart of Cologne covers a length of approx. 2km and includes over 30 projects. Streif Baulogistik has been involved since 2001 with comprehensive services, being responsible for the generic site logistics. This includes aspects such as logistics control and management of storage space, access control and the coordination of security and flood protection. In addition, the company has provided cranes, containers and electronic site equipment for numerous individual projects. |

Highway North and Northeast Beltway, Vienna
The Highway North and Northeast Beltway in Vienna has been under construction since 2001. The road, which covers 51km, is built as a Public-Private Partnership and is divided into several sections. For one of the executing joint ventures, Streif Baulogistik represented in Austria by its subsidiary financed and provided a large pool of earthwork and road construction equipment. The company has also provided revolving tower cranes, containers, electronic site equipment and shutterings. |

PPP-Schulen, Frankfurt am Main

Vienna Skylink, Vienna
The Vienna International Airport is extended by the new Skylink terminal. Streif Baulogistik has been involved in this major project since 2005: the company is providing and managing some 300 containers. Due to the construction progress, the facilities some up to 3 stories high were relocated in early 2008 during ongoing operations. During relocation and the operation of the containers, compliance with the stringent security requirements of the airport is mandatory. |

Rondo 1, Warsaw
The Polish capital has a new symbol. Right in the heart of Warsaw, the Rondo 1 has been causing a stir since late 2005. The glass office tower has transparent sky bridges which connect 18 outside elevators with the 40-story building. The Polish subsidiary of Streif Baulogistik supplied, set up and maintained two revolving tower cranes for the construction work. The tallest crane could climb to over 200m. |

Publishing house Süddeutscher Verlag, Munich
The new headquarters of the publishing house Süddeutscher Verlag in Munich were built between 2006 and 2008, a complex that consists of a 28-story office tower and two other six-story buildings. Streif Baulogistik provided the necessary cranes, office containers, electronic site equipment and the shuttering materials for the construction. The company was also responsible for a wide range of logistics services, including access control and management, security and health protection coordination as well as supply and waste management logistics. At peak times, up to 100 subcontractors needed to be coordinated on site. |

SkyOffice, Düsseldorf
With 23 stories, the SkyOffice is a new highlight in Düsseldorf's city center. It provides office space totaling over 30,000 m2 and makes for a fascinating sight with a seemingly transparent, filigree facade and a wing-shaped roof. Streif Baulogistik supplied standard and project-specific special shuttering along with cranes, electrical site equipment and power for the construction site. Special formwork solutions relieved the capacities of the revolving tower cranes in operation, which in the end climbed to over 100m. |

Westend Duo, Frankfurt
The office building in Frankfurt's Bockenheimer Landstrasse is a low-energy property that is heated and cooled using geothermal energy. For the construction of the 26-story towers, Streif Baulogistik supplied various equipment including revolving tower cranes and shuttering and provided its proprietary safety gear and weather protection. The enclosure system has various advantages: it is screen, dust and noise protection all in one and ensures complete fall protection during setup and stripping of the formwork. |
